 Coconut Liqueurs:Add A Touch Of The Tropics To Your Drinks!

 Ingredients:2 cups sugar1 cup water2 cups vodka1 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons coconut extract1 vanilla bean -or- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
 Directions:Coconut RumIn a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.Pour vodka and flavored extracts into the room temperature mixture. Pour the liquor into a sealable decanter; seal and store for at least two weeks before serving.
 
 Ingredients:1 cups sugar1/2 cup water3 cups rum2 tablespoons coconut extract1/2 vanilla bean -or- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 Directions:Coconut LiqueurIn a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.Pour rum, coconut extract and vanilla bean into the room temperature mixture. Pour the liquor into a sealable decanter; seal and store for at least two weeks before serving.
 
 Ingredients:4 cups packaged coconut*8 coriander seeds1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract6 cups vodka1 cup brandy
 Directions:Add all ingredients together and steep for 3-4 weeks, turning jar every few days. Thoroughly strain and filter the mixture into a sealable decanter.
 * Natural coconut may also be used, but tends to be watery and requires more coconut.
